Dr Gulati is a UK-trained consultant dermatologist. She studied medicine at University College London where she was also awarded a first-class honours degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. She has been practising dermatology since 2003 which has included training at a number of London’s teaching hospitals including Bart’s Health, Hammersmith & Ealing, Chelsea & Westminster and University College Hospitals.
Her dermatology training included a PhD study at QMUL exploring the early changes in skin cancer development and impact of common treatments. She has also held the prestigious post of National Institute of Health Research (NIHR)-funded Academic Clinical Lecturer at QMUL during which she explored ways of improving education and early recognition of skin cancers.
She is currently the lead clinician for skin cancer services and dermatology teaching lead at Homerton University Hospital. She is an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists Skin Cancer Prevention Committee and British Society for Skin Care of Immunocompromised Individuals (BSSCII). She is also a MRCP examiner.
She also has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of general dermatology in adults and children and consults on all aspects of skin disease including acne, skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis and allergy.
